We are seeking a technical writer that will help develop and write our documentation and training materials. Working with our Product Managers and Customer Success Manager, you will draft, refine, and deliver written documents and videos that both serve our clients as well as assist in generating internal documentation.
Work with product managers and customer success teams to produce and maintain world-class documentation, including: User Guides, Integration Guides, API Developer Guides, software documentation (tooltips, welcome instructions, etc.).
Determine how to present information in a clean, concise manner.
Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team.
Build and maintain client aids that go beyond traditional documentation, such as online videos, demos, guided tours, and other educational techniques.
Learn complex concepts, and communicate the information in a way that is engaging and understood by various levels of technical knowledge.
Monitor metrics for the usage of training materials as well as direct customer feedback to improve usability and prioritize future training investments.
Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables.
Maintain a library of application documentation, cataloging it for internal and external use.
Manage multiple language translations of the documentation.
Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others (technical specifications, guides, tips, etc.), ensuring a consistent "look and feel.”
Minimum 3-5 years of technical writing experience (SaaS experience is preferred).
Some experience using any 3D/2D software.
Strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums.
Experience working cross-departmentally to communicate the nuts and bolts of a product.
Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
A positive, can-do attitude.
Experience working with the following tools preferred: JIRA, Sphinx, Git & Github, HTML, CSS.

Experience with volumetric video is a huge plus.
Experience with AR, VR, XR applications is a plus.
Role is remote based out of Nova Scotia. (Other locations can be discussed.)
This role reports to the Customer Success Manager.
